Malcolm Lee Kitchen III

Founder, Lead Researcher, Senior Analyst, Publisher

Malcolm L. Kitchen III is an independent constitutional researcher, writer, and the founder of MK3 Law Group and the Margin of the Law project. His work focuses on constitutional law, civil liberties, government power, and the evolving systems of surveillance and influence shaping modern society.

A United States Army veteran and lifelong technician by trade, Malcolm approaches legal and political research with a systems mindset. Years spent working in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical diagnostics shaped the way he studies institutions today; by breaking complex structures down into their component parts and understanding how each piece interacts with the others.

What began as personal research into constitutional history and civil rights gradually evolved into a larger project. Malcolm recognized that many Americans graduate from school with only a surface-level understanding of the laws and institutions that govern their lives. At the same time, the modern administrative state, technological surveillance capabilities, and large-scale information systems have grown dramatically in both complexity and influence.

marginofthelaw.com/ was created to bridge that gap.

Through long-form articles, research pieces, and educational content, Malcolm works to make complex legal concepts understandable to ordinary citizens. His writing focuses on the foundations of constitutional government, the structure of American law, and the historical and modern forces that shape public policy.

The mission is not partisan advocacy. It is civic clarity.

A functioning republic depends on citizens who understand the systems that govern them. The goal of this project is to help provide that understanding.
